      • Construction Project Manager:
        Positions are available in Santa Barbara and Santa Maria.

        We welcome resumes from those with a minimum of 5 years of direct construction project management experience on residential and/or commercial new construction and remodeling projects. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative, problem-solving attitude with a focus on teamwork. We are looking for a Project Manager with an experienced business acumen including a thorough understanding of budgets. For this position, we are seeking a team leader who is self-responsible, highly organized, and
        capable of proactively managing tasks with excellent written and oral communication skills.

        The job duties of the Project Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

        • Full understanding and ability to work with MS Outlook, Excel, and Word. MS Project experience is helpful. Procore project management software experience is a plus.
        • Maintain extensive knowledge of the project. This includes an understanding of the Approved Plans, Local Building Codes, Proper Construction Methods, and Proper Construction Terminology.
        • Job procurement, estimating, Subcontractor, and Superintendent management.
        • Set up preliminary budgets and schedules.
        • Receiving bids and procuring materials for the best possible pricing.
        • Communicate with the President, Controller, Superintendents, Clients, Government Agencies, and Subcontractors.
        • Ensure that work proceeds on schedule.
      • Construction Project Engineer:
        Positions are available in Santa Barbara and Santa Maria.

        We welcome resumes from those with construction project assisting experience who have
        collaborated on residential and/or commercial new construction and remodeling projects. The Project Engineer shall be primarily responsible for assisting the Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a problem-solving attitude with a focus on producing a successful project, completed on time and within budget. For this position, we are seeking a team member who is self-responsible, highly organized, and capable of proactively coordinating tasks with excellent written and oral communication skills.

        The job duties for the Project Engineer include, but are not limited to, the following:

        • A minimum of 5 years of direct supervision experience on residential and/or commercial new construction and remodeling projects.
        • Must have a fundamental understanding of the plan check, permitting and building inspection process, and be able to comfortably interact with building officials, schedule inspections.
        • Should be self-responsible, highly organized, and capable of proactively managing daily tasks on multiple, concurrent projects.
        • Possess a full understanding and ability to work with Outlook, Excel, and Word; experience with Sage 100/300 and MS Project experience is helpful.
      • Project Superintendent Position:
        We have two openings, one in Santa Barbara and one in Santa Maria/Orcutt.
        • Manage project budget and accounting documentation with a full understanding and ability to work with MS Outlook, Excel, and Word. MS Project experience is helpful. Procore project management software experience is a plus.
        • A clear understanding of how to assist with the Approved Plans, Local Building Codes, Proper Construction Methods, and Proper Construction Terminology.
        • The ability to assist with the Project Manager with job procurement, estimating, and some Subcontractor management. Project Engineer shall work closely with the Project Manager to make sure all information regarding the scopes of work are correctly communicated to the Subcontractors.
        • An awareness of preliminary budgets and how to help with scheduling.
        • Assisting with the management of the Superintendents.
        • Assisting the Project Manager with verifying that the Superintendents are on schedule and meeting all of their Superintendent duties.
        • Assist with payments to Subcontractors while coordinating any change orders, credits, invoice approvals, and final payments to Subcontractors.
        • Ensure that work proceeds on schedule.
      • Heavy Equipment Operator/Driver:
        You must have a current valid Class A license. This position is in Santa Maria/Orcutt.

         

        The ideal candidate will have experience driving water trucks, dump trucks, trucks pulling equipment on trailers, etc. Experience with operating tractors, backhoes, skip loaders, forklift, or other heavy equipment is a huge plus, as is a mechanical mind-set. Clean driving record is a must for this position, as is a safety-conscious attitude. Team players encouraged to apply. Immediate hire, benefit eligible position (health insurance).

         

      • Landscape Manager: This is a full time position, available for immediate hire, and is benefit-eligible (health insurance,paid time off). We are looking for an experienced team player who wants to join our company and stay with us for the long term; there is opportunity to advance for the right person.The ideal candidate will have at least 5-8 years of direct landscape experience including:
        • Ability to read landscape plans and construct according to the plan design
        • New construction experience, including purchasing, planting, irrigation, and installation
        • Ability and desire to lead a crew and build a team of helpers as we grow
        • Strong work ethic, drive to excel, problem solver, with team player attitude
        • Commercial and residential experience for installation and maintenance
      • Construction Landscape Crew Members:At least 3 years general construction experience, must have landscape background including installations, troubleshooting, and planting. Experience driving construction equipment (Bobcat, dump truck, back hoe, etc); skill in maintaining equipment would be helpful. Positions based in Santa Barbara.
